The young student Maria lives a life marked by an addiction to closeness, by excesses with sex, drugs and alcohol and her penchant for self-destruction. Her biggest enemy is being alone which she is trying to fight by having an affair with Wolfgang and numerous one-night-stands. One day, she meets the young student Jan. She feels that this beginning relationship is different from all the others she has experienced so far. Because of her desire to keep her instable way of life secret, Maria tries to hide her very inner self from Jan, and in so doing puts his trust in her to a hard test. |
